About TBW
How you get onto the site, where you park your vehicles, where your people sleep and eat — and who picks up the phone if something comes up on the way.
Training Base Weeze is located on the Lower Rhine on part of the former Royal Air Force base (RAF Laarbruch), right next to Weeze Airport. Thanks to its connection to the A57 motorway, our training site is easy to reach.

A57, exit 6 Weeze · 8 km to Gate 2
The usual way. The last eight kilometres are a well-built country road, oncoming articulated lorries are planned for.
Weeze station (RE 10) · 6 km to Gate 2
The Niers-Express runs every hour from Düsseldorf via Krefeld to Kleve. The TBW shuttle picks you up at the station.
Weeze Airport (NRN) · 2 km to Gate 2
The airport is on the same grounds. For international groups this is the shortest way from the gate to the training site.
Training over several days works better when the group stays together. There are crew quarters on the site, and hotels in Weeze and Kevelaer for anyone who needs some distance in the evening.
Short distances, comfortable accommodation and ideal connections: the Best Deal Hotel is only about 100 metres from the training site and offers the right accommodation for a relaxed stay during your training. This lets you focus entirely on your training and benefit from short distances and uncomplicated accommodation.
Further hotels are available in Kevelaer, Goch and the surrounding area. Depending on your requirements and preferences, they offer different types of accommodation. Many have their own restaurant and bar, so you can also round off the training day in a relaxed way off the site.
Well fed throughout the day
Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner – our canteen takes care of your meals throughout the training day. Our changing buffet offers a varied selection of hot dishes, fresh salads and desserts. So you start the day well, recharge and are ready for the next training session. Catering is part of every package, its scope depends on the package you choose. Self-catering is not possible on site.
Whatever you need
Sometimes it has to be quick, sometimes it can be something special. Our additional catering options keep you flexible: from fresh fruit baskets for in between, packed lunches for on the go and filled rolls to a barbecue for grilling yourselves in the evening – we have the right extra for every occasion.
Unwind at the end of the day
After an intensive day of training, it’s time to unwind. Our rustic Phoenix Bar has the special charm of the old air base and invites you to get together in a relaxed atmosphere, swap stories and round off the day together.

See it first
A site visit takes two hours: grounds, accommodation, canteen and the objects that could suit you. Afterwards you know whether the journey is worth it.
